The dial’s Chromalight display ensures legibility in low-light conditions, with rectangular index hour markers and longer hands emitting a long-lasting blue luminescence. A fixed inverted red triangle points to the chosen reference time on the 24-hour disc, and a deep red rectangle in one of the 12 apertures around the dial indicates the current month, enhancing the watch’s intuitive readability. At the heart of the Sky-Dweller lies, the Rolex Calibre 9002 contains 40 jewels and has an approximate power reserve of approximately 72 hours powers, a self-winding mechanical movement that offers dual time zone functionality and an annual calendar. The off-center 24-hour disc allows for easy reading of home time, while the central hands display local time. The Saros annual calendar automatically differentiates between 30- and 31-day months, requiring only one date adjustment per year, at the end of February. The fluted bezel in 18k Yellow Gold is a true hallmark of Rolex. Bidirectional rotatable, it is part of the Ring Command system and, when interacting with the crown, allows the user to select watch functions one by one and adjust them easily, quickly and simply.
